These Dogs Prove We Can Be Different – and Still Be Friends

It’s long been proven that dog is man’s best friend, but the truth is dogs can be the best of friends with so many other creatures. What’s perfect about dogs is they neither judge nor discriminate. They’ll give you their loyalty whether you’re black, white, brown, or a colorful butterfly; whether you have two legs, four, or as many as eight. They don’t care about age, weight, race, species – and sometimes, that’s all we really need in life, isn’t it?

Studies show that dogs have been really chummy with our species since prehistoric times. Sharing a mutually benefiting relationship, man and dog have grown accustomed to living closely together. This natural sociability that most dogs have seems to extend to other species – and these unlikely friendships are beautifully captured in these photos.
