If you had a choice, how many weekends would there be in a week? Right? Right??! There are claims that it was Henry Ford who first implemented the two-day weekend in the early 1900s at his company, Ford Motors. Why only two days, Mr. Ford, why? Well, before you make any complaints, you should know that prior to that – and in plenty of companies still these days – there was only one “weekend”, and even way before that, it was purely a seven-day workweek.
